Letter from the founder
There is a certain rhythm to designing a space that cannot be rushed. It starts with silence the kind you find when you first walk into a room before the work begins. You listen, not just to the client, but to the space itself. You take in its imperfections, its potential, its light. You learn what it wants to be.
Cline Taylor Design Haus was created with this rhythm in mind. A slower, more intentional way of working. One that values clarity over clutter, integrity over impulse, and story above all. I have always believed that good design is about more than beautiful furniture or on-trend materials. It is about resonance how a space makes you feel when you enter, how it aligns with who you are, how it supports the life you are trying to build.
My journey into design has never been linear. I trained as an architectural engineer before pivoting fully into interior design. I worked in hospitality before launching my own firm. And every chapter, every project, every unexpected turn along the way has shaped the philosophy that guides our studio today that good design requires presence, empathy and a deep understanding of both function and feeling.
Our work is layered, textured, and grounded in the
belief that every project deserves intention not just in how it looks, but in how it lives.
We work with people who are building something personal, a home, a business, a legacy. They come to us with vision, ambition, sometimes uncertainty. And our job is not to impose our style but to interpret theirs. To take their ideas and elevate them with craftsmanship, material sensitivity and a sense of quiet confidence.
At Cline Taylor Design Haus, we do not subscribe to a signature aesthetic. We do not copy and paste. We curate, we respond, we collaborate. Whether we are designing a boutique hospitality space, reimagining a residential flat or building a furniture concept from scratch, we treat every project as its own world, complete with its own rules, needs and character.
